2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Red and Black Accent Packages Head to SEMA
Alongside the Camaro Red Line Series, Chevrolet will debut two other color coordinated Camaros at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Red Accent Package and Camaro SS Black Accent Package concept cars showcase a number of upgrades available from Chevrolet Accessories and Performance Parts.
The Camaro SS Red Accent Package boasts, well, plenty of red accents. Red grille inserts, red “hash mark” fender graphics, and red trim cover this specially made silver-painted Camaro SS convertible. Twenty-inch gloss black wheels with red accent striping finish off the exterior look. Inside, look for red aluminum door inserts, red knee pads, and red leather trim as well as sport pedal covers. Under the surface, the custom SS receives a lowered suspension, performance air intake, and Brembo front brakes with six-piston calipers.
Those looking to indulge their sinister side will want to check out the Black Accent package. This model is painted red but comes with darkened taillamps, a black bowtie emblem, black rally stripes, black ground effects, and gloss black 20-inch wheels. Inside, you’ll find black leather trim, sport pedal covers, and a suede console lid with red stitching. Like with the Red Accent package, the model also offers a lower suspension, air intake kit, and Brembo front brake package.
Interestingly, Ford is also bringing its game to SEMA with some red and black-themed Mustangs, which like the Camaros, also receive performance upgrades. We’ll see them all at the SEMA show in Las Vegas starting November 3.
